Italian Air Force F-104S Starfighter
The Aeritalia and FIAT F-104S Starfighter was a licensed production Italian version of the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter, which served in the Italian Air Force (AMI, Aeronautica Militare Italiana), and was the AMI’s mainstay from the late 1960s until the beginning of the 21st Century. The F-104S was the final development of the Starfighter line.

The F-104S ASA was in service from 1985 to 2004 and was replaced by the F-16 fighter. The 5-37 was stationed in Rimini, Cervia AB and was assigned to the 23rd Squadron, 5th Fighter Wing. (23. Gruppo, 5. Stormo)

The original was painted with dark gray and dark green camouflage schemes. In order to bring out the elegant lines of the Starfighter, the model was painted in aluminum color.

All aircraft are largely true-to-life replicas. The special illumination of “light painting photography” creates particularly realistic images of the model. The model is staged accordingly using a graphics program.

L’originale è stato dipinto nello schema mimetico verde scuro e grigio scuro, al fine di far risaltare le linee eleganti dello Starfighter, il modello è stato verniciato con vernice alluminio.
